This subject is important to any engineering graduates who wishes to grasp deep understanding on technicalities and theories pertaining process safety and loss prevention in the industries. It gave us an insight on how particular change of variables in certain disaster models could change the aftermath of an accident. I personally think everyone should study this subject, because in the event of an accident, it is only the matter of time that the event could turn out to be fatal or the other way around, and you cannot wait anyone else to do it, unless you really know what you’re doing. But the thing that’s being highlighted here is the word “prevention”. Certainly, prevention is better than cure itself.
