A little contribution of mine~

Based on the hand-out given during the briefing session, I am mainly a sceptic as I constantly asks for verification, validity and challenges the given idea. There are times my ideas are accepted and challenged as well. Me and Ng Wei Jei tried to find the elements of CPDIC subject that were needed to be integrated in the board games. I was assigned to print the design of the board game too. I designed most of the group mind map using the Prezi software.

How do I feel about our board game?

The game itself is based on the snake-and-ladder board games. However, in order to make it more challenging, we have twisted the way the game works. We have added points of which players could accumulate over time in order for him/her to win the game. The addition of kinetic reactor elements help the players to accelerate their own points, ultimately winning the game or decreases the opponent’s points. It is a challenge to win the game considering the various elements integrated i.e. KRD, CPDIC and PSLP, whereby most snake-and-ladder games are only based on luck, this particular gameplay requires intelligent and grasp of knowledge in all 3 subjects. It is great to know this such board game can exist both as an entertainment as well as learning platform.
