Reflection For Mini Project 2

Contributions

Our mini project is based on technology that can handle organic waste which is benefit for economic, environment and society. Well, my contribution for our mini project is update the website for the e-portfolio. Besides that, I have surveyed which technology is suitable for our mini project. Moreover, I co-operate with Kamesh which is my group member to identify the technology. Other than that, I & Kamesh find out what is the control element that required in our technology that is operate the reactor. Lastly, I contribute some ideas to other group member to solve their problems in other part of project.

 

REFLECTIONS ON THE SUBJECT

KRD

After mid-sem, Dr Tazli teaching KRD subject in different way than other lecturer. It is quite new for me in the beginning, because I am a slow learner so I think some time to get used to it. Dr Tazli teaching method quite different, because he will ask us to study first through the video that he post in youtube first. However, it take long time for understanding when you watch the video by yourself. After that, Dr Tazli will teach us in the class and will try to explain again the whole chapter for the better understanding with the exercise he provide in the class. Lastly, I would like to thank Dr Tazli for being there when we having difficult time and I hope can get good result in my final exam.

 

CPDIC

This is the toughest subject so far in my 3 years experience in UTP. This subject is very tough because it got a lot derivation and fundamental of control process. However, Dr Haslida will give us some exercise of the subject in the middle of the class, with this it help us to improve our understanding in this subject. Moreover, for better understanding of this subject, we need to do a lot of exercise because I believe ‘practise makes you perfect’. Lastly, I would like thank Dr Haslida for her effort to teach us this subject although sometimes we not understand and get a good result to repay her.

 

PSLP

Dr Dzulkarnain still teaching this subject and the way he teach also makes student pay more attention in the class. This due to the exercise he give after he finish teaching every topic. So, the way he teaching makes us having better understanding on the topic that we learned on that day.

 

 

 

 

REFLECTION ON THE ASSIGNMENT 2

Honestly, I can’t believe that we manage finish this mini project with limited time. I believe we can do much better if we have more time to do this project. However, we feel happy that we manage to go this project and without this amazing group member nothing is impossible.

We need to solve reactor sizing of the reactor by applying the reaction kinetics

 

CPDIC

We need to figure transfer function of the reactor and the control process of the reactor by applying knowledge from this subject

 

PSLP

We need to apply knowledge of this subject by doing the HAZOP table and other safety precaution step.
